Home Tour Day is a great day to get out of the house and see how other people live -- specifically those in one of the most talked about historic neighborhoods in Arizona.
You will want to park at Encanto Park or somewhere in the neighborhood. You can buy your tickets and a refreshment at Holly and 12th Avenue where we will also have a street fair, food vendors and a beer garden. On an old-fashioned trolley ride you can listen to a tour guide give you a fascinating commentary on the history of the neighborhood. Your ticket booklet will provide information about each specific house, its history, famous people who may have lived in it, interesting architectural features, and more.

The venue will be professionally styled by top vendors with ceremony, reception and lounge areas throughout the venue. The Phoenix Rose Society hosts their annual rose horticulture, arrangement and photography show at the Valley Garden Center. Gardeners of all ages and skill levels are invited to exhibit their work. Entries will be accepted from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and the show officially starts at 1 p.m.
Join iris enthusiasts and growers for a weekend of flora and fun. Hosted by the Sun Country Iris Society, the Magic of Iris features banquet speaker Steve Schreiner and in-garden training by Kathy Chilton. The Four Points Phoenix North hotel serves as headquarters and registration check in is at 2 p.m. on April 20th.

Members of the Washington Garden Club will show you simple and easy ways to make your flowers last longer, while sharing a variety of different design ideas for the same container. Even if you’d rather not get your hands dirty, you’re welcome to come watch and learn!
Members of the Phoenix Rose Society provide education on the best ways to prune roses. The event will be hosted in the Valley Garden Center's rose garden. Class begins at 9 a.m.
Open to the public: Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
